Insignis Cars is owned and operated by Total Automotive Solutions Ltd a company registered in the UK under company registration number 0718813. We offer a vehicle sourcing service designed to help our customers find the cars they want. This includes both new and used vehicles, cars and commercial vehicles and left hand drive and right hand drive vehicles.

 

Via an expansive network of new and used car retailers and traders we are able to provide an all encompassing service to our clients allowing them effective access to vehicles in the UK and the rest of the world which otherwise they wouldn’t normally be able to access. In addition to this we are able to provide our experience and expertise in sourcing quality vehicles at good prices.

DELIVERY POLICY

 

Details relating to the delivery of your vehicle will be outlined in your initial order confirmation supplied by Total Automotive Solutions Ltd. You can expect a regular update via email from your representative as to any developments on the order. This is particularly applicable to orders placed for advanced factory order. Stock deliveries can be expected with 5-7 working days excluding weekends and bank holidays. At all times any delay to your order will be communicated to you with a reason for the delay. Delays of more than 2 weeks can result in your right to cancel your order and claim a refund of any monies paid or deposited. For more information see our cancellation policy section.

 

 

PRICING POLICY

Pricing varies considerably across our product and services range dependent upon the value of the vehicle you are purchasing. However fees charged in relation to sourcing vary from a minimum of £250 excluding VAT to a maximum of 5% of the value of the vehicle. All fees for sourcing services will made clear on your vehicle order form and subsequent order confirmation.

Where deposits are taken against a vehicle order this also varies from £500 through to 10% of the order value and does depend on manufacturers individual requirements however the deposit amount will be detailed on your quote, order form and final order confirmation.

 

 

 

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

 

Total Automotive Solutions Ltd provides vehicle sourcing service and many instances will not take a payment from your directly unless the vehicle is in our own stock or a car we are purchasing on your behalf. Other instances whereby we may take a payment from you include deposits or administration fees payable on completion of a purchase.

 

Vehicle Purchases

Should the vehicle not be mechanically sound you can return or have the vehicle repaired within the first 30 days unless you have been given an additional warranty or purchased an additional warranty in which case the vehicle can be returned and refunded once the warranty has been exercised  Should the vehicle not cosmetically sound you have 24 hours to advise us of this in writing whereby we will have the opportunity to repair the vehicle if we are unable to you will receive a full refund.

 

Administration Fees

Administration Fees including buyers fees or commission are payable upon the completion of a vehicle sourcing project. Should you return the vehicle to the supplying dealer then the administration fee will also be refunded in full.

 

Cancellation of a Deposit Paid Order

If you choose to cancel an order that has been deposited upon you risk losing your deposit in full. In a circumstance whereby we or our supplier is unable to deliver the vehicle at the agreed time or within 15 working days of the projected date of delivery without advanced warning and discussion you have the right to a full refund of your deposit. This applies to vehicles that are incorrectly ordered by us. If we advise a delay or problem and you accept that delay then should you decide to cancel after 5 working days of that agreement to continue then you risk losing the deposit.

 

Cancellation of Finance Agreements

With all finance agreements as well as contract hire agreements and the associated vehicle order private individuals are allowed a 14 day cooling off period in which time they can choose to cancel the contract. Should you cancel the order after this period we reserve the right to charge an equivalent to 3 months rental.
