About Aston Martin..
The iconic British car marker was found in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. Aston primarily built cars for racing such as the Green Pea and Halford special. It wasn’t until the 1930’s that they really started retail focused manufacturing.
The luxury car company has always struggled financially with a series of ownership changes nearly taking place every decade since it inception. From Dave Brown Ltd to Ford to the current owner LVMH headed up by Prodrive owner Dave Richards.
Aston Martin however is held with pride as one of Britain’s great achievements and is definitively British with even the likes of James Bond driving their cars throughout his various incantantations.
Today's more modernised lineup with the Aston Martin DB 9, Vantage and DBS continues to represent class, prestige, excellent sports performance, engineering and design. All you need is circa £70000 to £150000 to buy one!

Buying an Aston Martin.
Aston Martin has a well serviced dealer network in the UK. Lead times vary but 6 - 8 month minimum should be expected.
The used market is not the easiest place to find an Aston Martin particularly with the spec you desire but used is a great way to own one of these cars. Used cars start from 2 to 3 years in general and more often than not have very low mileage. This is the optimum period to buy an Aston Martin as the worst of the depreciation has happened. Ass ever be wary of service history and any missing/damaged parts as these can be very expensive to replace.
