About Bentley..
W.O Bentley founded Bentley Motor Company Ltd in 1919 initially importing French D.P.F cars, Bentley had always wanted to design his own cars and in 1919 registered his first chassis for exhibition at the London Motor Show. Even at that time orders took 10 months and these first cars took a whole year longer than that!
The British Brand has seen a couple of high profile owners, in the 30’s it was owned by Rolls Royce and today is owned by the Volkswagen group and continues to produce some of the highest quality luxury vehicles in the market. Bentley Crewe production site is over-worked struggling to fulfil the potential 9500 annual orders due to the success particularly of the Bentley Continental GT and Flying Spur.
